My name is Xia Jin Hua. I came from China to Odesa in 2004 and entered the Institute of Psychology at South Ukrainian National Pedagogical University named after K.D.Ushynsky.

Odesa stands at the shore of the Black Sea. It is a beautiful and interesting city. The city is proud to display its history and successfully integrates new and interesting ideas to show it is a progressive city. Gold cupolas of the churches sparkle in the bright sunshine among green trees. There are a lot of recreation zones, parks, gardens, theatres, concert halls, and clubs within the city which gives students a break outside of their studies. Tourists from all over the world come to experience this type of culture.

The university has many high level professionals that educate students. This gives the students the opportunity to learn from some of the best experts of their fields. Foreign students have the support of the faculty to assist us in our studies.

My student’s life is interesting and happy. I like to communicate with Ukrainian students and friends.

To become a psychologist is my dream. My dream is becoming a reality. I am serious about this subject because I like it so much. Due to the encouragement of the faculty, I stay motivated and excited about psychology. This year I will have my diploma and I will look back fondly of my time in Odesa.
