September 30 - All-Ukrainian day of libraries

All-Ukrainian day of libraries is established by the Decree of the President of Ukraine from May 14, 1998, # 471/98 and is celebrated annually on September 30.

Today, libraries and librarians carry out a high mission: to educate and educate, to provide unhindered access to information and resources for users, to facilitate the acquisition of skills in the search and use of various information resources.

In September 2018, the Library of Ushynsky University of is 96 years old. The library was founded in 1922, and the first books of its fund belonged to the bookstore of the Institute of Public Education.

Today, the University Library Foundation has 330,000 printed units and over 1700 full-text electronic documents from various fields of knowledge. Library specialists provide educational and scientific processes with high-quality and up-to-date information, using traditional and electronic resources.
