May 6, 2019, in the framework of celebrating the Day of Science, with the support of the Educational and Cultural Center "Confucius Institute", a student scientific and practical conference "Science Progress in Ukraine: New Concepts and Modern Solutions" was held on the basis of the faculty of foreign languages ​​of  Ushynsky University.

Special attention of higher education graduates and foreign language teachers attracted lingvodidactic problems of teaching foreign languages ​​at secondary school; urgent questions of general and comparative linguistics; modern intelligence in the fields of translation and synology; problems of professional training of future specialists in the conditions of a modern multicultural space, etc.

The conference has been attended by the Dean of the Department of Foreign Languages ​​at the Faculty of Science and Education, invited specialists of linguistics, in particular a US-based teacher George Burke, as well as students of future teachers of foreign languages. The number of participants has been more than 80 people.

The discussions on topical issues of philology, translation and professional training of future teachers of foreign languages ​​in the multicultural space that have taken place within the forum will contribute to the formation of a single scientific and academic space through the integration of the leading experience of scientists from Western and Eastern countries and students of Ushynsky University.
