On March 1, 2024, the team of scientists of Ushynsky University actively participated in the II International Scientific Conference "Artificial Intelligence in Education and Science" (AISE 2024). A year ago, after a loud announcement about ChatGPT and a wave of educators' concerns about the consequences of its use in education and scientific activity, Ushynsky University supported the idea of UkrINTI and the Institute of Digitalization of Education of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine and acted as a co-organizer of the conference "AI in Education and Science" https://sites .google.com/view/aise-2024 .
Ushynsky University became the only participant of the conference that offered a master class on using AI tools. The author's master class "GPT-store. AI services in education" was conducted by the young scientist Viktor KORABLYOV. About 120 people took part in the master class.
At the panel discussion "The impact of artificial intelligence on changes in the content and methodology of education and scientific research", the main areas of work and achievements of Ushinsky University in the field of studying the possibilities of using AI were presented by the vice-rector for scientific work, Hanna MUZYCHENKO.
In the plenary part of the conference, Andrii TUZHIKOV, a graduate student of specialty 105 Applied Physics and Nanomaterials, who is not only a researcher of the impact of AI on the field of materials science, but also an expert in the field of creating AI, delivered a report on the impact of AI on the scientific field.
Volodymyr CHERNYKH spoke about a separate area of research on the influence of AI on the training of pedagogical staff and the formation of their use of AI tools in the training of future computer science teachers, about the possibilities of AI for increasing the adaptive properties of learning management systems - Doctor of Science in Technology, Prof. Tetyana MAZUROK, about the model of training future primary school teachers for the use of ICT in the education of younger schoolchildren (integrated courses) - Doctor of Pedagogy, Prof. Svitlana Skvortsova.
The conference has ended its work, and scientists of Ushynsky University, inspired by new interesting ideas, are already preparing for the next conference and the implementation of AI tools in their professional activities.
