On September 30, 2020, a meeting of the Board of the Educational and Cultural Center “Confucius Institute” at South Ukrainian National Pedagogical University named after K.D.Ushynsky took place in a video conference format.

Chinese partners from Harbin Engineering University, led by the Rector, Professor Yao Yu, praised the Center's work over the year. Despite the COVID-19 coronavirus pandemic, the Confucius Institute of Ushynsky University continued to operate actively on new digital platforms and achieved significant results in culture and education.

In his speech, the Rector of Ushynsky University, Academician Olexii Yakoyvych Chebykin thanked the Chinese side for fruitful cooperation, outlined the prospects for further development of the Center and the main tasks for the next period.
