Shanghai, December 5-13, 2015. A delegation from South Ukrainian National Pedagogical University named after K.D.Ushynsky consisting of Olexiy Chebykin, the Rector; Olga Kopus, Prorector for Academic and Scientific and Pedagogical work; Alexender Popova, Director of Educational and Cultural Center "The Confucius Institute"; Dean Sean, Director of Educational and Cultural Center "The Confucius Institute" visited China to participate in the 10th International Conference of Confucius Institutes and conduct vocational guidance work to attract Chinese students to study creative specialties and philology.

December 24, 2015 in Methodological center of artistic and aesthetic education of children and youth a New Year's concert of creative teams was held.

 Santa Claus and his granddaughter welcomed the participants and guests with the New Year’s Day.

December 23, 2015 at the Faculty of Musical and Choreographic Education a real theatrical performance "Winter holidays in Ukraine" took place. The ritual winter holidays are preserved in the treasury of Ukrainian folk art from ancient times. They are considered as the most important event of the year. Among winter holidays the Ukrainians honor St. Andrew’s Day, St. Nicholas’ Day, Christmas Day, New Year’s Day.

December 19-20, 2015

The event was attended by 60 representatives of student government from more than 10 Universities of Odessa. It was opened by Olga Kryvoruchko, Assistant Deputy Minister of Education.

2015-2016 season Odessa team “Burevisnyk” took the second place after two tours.

This year our University is represented by “Burevisnyk-2”. After two tours it took the eighth place.
