On May 11-20, 2024, seminars on scientific work under the NAWA IMPRES-U: Spectral and geometric methods for damped wave equations with applications to fiber lasers were held at the Institute of Mathematics of the Polish Academy of Sciences, Poland, Warsaw, where representatives of South Ukrainian National Pedagogical University named after K.D. Ushynsky: Professor Vyacheslav Mykolayovych Pivovarchyk, Doctor of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, Head of the Department of Higher Mathematics and Statistics, and Alesya Oleksandrivna Supranovych, a 4th year student of the Secondary Education (Physics) specialty. At the seminars, issues of stability and instability research of periodic stationary nonlinear waves with application in fiber lasers were considered.
