On October 29, 2025, a guest lecture by Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor, Corresponding Member of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine Svitlana Skvortsova was held at South Ukrainian National Pedagogical University named after K. D. Ushynsky on the topic “Review of AI tools for optimizing the research activities of a university teacher”.

The event was held for students of the second (master's) level of higher education of the educational and professional program “Pedagogy. Management of an educational institution” within the framework of the academic discipline “Pedagogy of higher education”.

During the lecture, an overview of modern artificial intelligence tools that help teachers increase the efficiency of scientific research work was presented.

Svitlana Skvortsova introduced the participants to the capabilities of chatbots ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, as well as specialized platforms Google Scholar, Semantic Scholar, Cite, Elecit for searching, analyzing and systematizing scientific information.

Special attention was paid to examples of using AI to prepare publications, analytical materials, and build bibliographic databases.
