On March 23, 2026 at 1:00 PM, teaching staff of Ushynsky University and employees of the South Ukrainian Center for Professional Development, managers and specialists in the socio-economic sphere joined the work of the consultation point on the development of advanced training programs.

During the consultation, the following were considered:

• regulatory and legal requirements for advanced training programs;
• structure and mandatory components of programs;
• formulation of goals, objectives and expected learning outcomes;
• determination of the scope and forms of organizing the educational process;
• features of developing the content of programs in accordance with modern educational needs;
• criteria for assessing the quality of programs;
• typical mistakes during the preparation of programs and ways to avoid them.

Special attention was paid to the development of programs within the framework of the principle "Money follows the teacher." This model assumes that teachers independently choose subjects of advanced training and educational programs in accordance with their own professional needs, and funding is directed directly to the educational services they have chosen.

In this context, the following are of great importance:

• creation of high-quality, relevant and competitive advanced training programs;
• orientation of the content of the programs to the real needs of teachers;
• ensuring the practical orientation of training;
• transparency and clarity of learning outcomes for potential students.

Participation in the work of the consultation point contributed not only to increasing the professional competence of teachers, but also to intensifying the work on developing their own advanced training programs in accordance with modern educational approaches and requirements.
