October 19, 2018, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Korea to Ukraine, Mr. Li Young-Gu, visited South Ukrainian National Pedagogical University named after K. D. Ushynsky.

Within the framework of the working meeting of the Korean diplomat with the Rector, Academician Olexii Y. Chebykin, have discussed the aspects of the University's Educational Information and Cultural Center of the Republic of Korea, the intensification of the University's academic and scientific cooperation with the institutions of higher education of the Republic of Korea, as well as joint scientific and communicative activities.

The evening of Ukrainian-Korean friendship has been held for the first time at Ushynsky University, where the Ambassador of the Republic of Korea to Ukraine, Mr. Lee Young-Gu, revealed the problematic issues of history and peculiarities of the modern national development of his country. In a solemn atmosphere, the high guest has distinguished the best students who participated in the creative arts competition, and also he has been acquainted with the bright concert program, which is prepared by students and lecturers of Ushynsky University.
