On May 15-16, the 16th Summer Universiade of Ukraine in Taekwondo took place in Ivano-Frankivsk. According to the results of the competition, the team from our city took 3rd place in the overall standings. The competition was attended by students of the Institute of Physical Culture, Sports and Rehabilitation, who specialize in the Department of Gymnastics and Martial Arts.

The national team consisted of:

Dolga Kateryna - 1st place (46 kg)

Rahimi Rashid - 2nd place (58 kg)

Nesteruk Vitaly - 5th place (63 kg)

Lipatova Juliana - 1st place (67 kg)

Gamurar Julia - 2nd place (67 kg)

Semanyuk Victor - 3rd place (74 kg)

The team for the competition is prepared by Honored Coach of Ukraine in Taekwondo, head coach of the national team of Ukraine, President of the Odesa Regional Taekwondo Federation Victor Podolyan.
