On March 28, Ushynsky University held an educational meeting of the Department of Physical Culture and Sports of the Odesa Regional State Administration on the results of work in 2022. The meeting was attended by Valentyna Kolchak, Head of the Department of Physical Culture and Sports of the Odesa Regional State Administration, Oleksandr Lonchak, Director of the Department of Education and Science of the Odesa Regional State Administration, Yury Kruk, Head of the Odesa District Military Administration, Serhii Hrynevetskyi, an honorary citizen of Odesa and Odesa Oblast, Andriy Nachev, vice-rector for social humanitarian and scientific and pedagogical work and Hanna Muzychenko, vice-rector for scientific work.

The purpose of the meeting was to sum up the sports results of the year, jointly define new horizons and outline plans for the coming year. The best sportsmen of Odesa were also awarded and the title of "Master of Sports of the International Class" was awarded to the champions and prize-winners of the Olympic, Paralympic, and De-Olympic World and European Championships. In 2022, Ukrainian athletes won more than 1,600 medals at official international competitions. Representatives of Odesa made a significant contribution to this sports treasury.
