June 10-11, 2018 to expand Ukrainian-Korean cooperation, under the auspices of the Ambassador of the Republic of Korea to Ukraine, Mr. Lee Young-Gu, the delegation of Chonbuk National University visited South Ukrainian National Pedagogical University named after K.D.Ushynsky.
Chobuk National University of is a powerful academic center of the Republic of Korea, which has a 70-year history. In the Korean institution of higher education, based on 116 faculties, there are 32,000 students and 1050 professors.

June 5, 2018, the XIXth meeting of the Ukrainian Universities Consortium and Warsaw University took place in Lviv, in which 35 representatives of Polish and Ukrainian higher education institutions participated.
The forum has been attended by the Rector of South Ukrainian National Pedagogical University named after K. D. Ushynsky, Academician Olexii Chebykin, with the presentation of our institution of higher education. After discussing the presentation, members of the consortium unanimously approved the decision to accept Ushynsky University as an international consortium.
Congratulations to the team of Ushynsky University on this event and we wish to further deepen cooperation with European educational and research centers.

The men’s handball team of the Faculty of Physical Education at Ushynsky University in a stubborn struggle won 1 PLACE in XXVI regional student games among the universities of Odesa. Our guys beat the team of the environmental university with a score of 23: 19 in the finals!

Under such a slogan, a series of training sessions with students of the specialization "Advertising and Public Relations" have taken place in cooperation with graduate students of the Faculty of Philology devoted to the university events to celebrate the Day of Science. Advertising is an indispensable companion of our everyday lives. Through the visual (billboards, posters, flyers, booklets, banners, mailing lists, television and Internet resources) or audio (radio, mobile communication), the prism of advertising texts, we perceive the society, understand its moral and ethical priorities, we feel the identity of the national linguistic culture and cultural stereotypes. These and other issues have been raised in the video presentation "Types and features of modern advertising. May 31-June 3, 2018, on the basis of our university, for the first time in Ukraine, a unique creative project took place - International Workshop "Choir Art in the XXI Century: Theory, Practice, Methodology", which consisted of a number of master classes by leading choral conductors from Moldova and Ukraine.
The organizers of this project were: Music and Choral Association of Moldova - President Olena Marian, All-Ukrainian NGO "Union of Musicians of Ukraine" - Head of Odessa Branch Sergey Savenko and South Ukrainian National Pedagogical University named after                K.D. Ushynsky - Faculty of Music and Choreography, Department of Conductor-Choral Training (Dean Belova Natalya Konstantynivna, Head of the Department - Osadcha Tetiana Vsevolodivna).
It has been a wonderful couple of days of creative communication, acquaintance with new scientific forms and achievements, several days of the choral laboratory in which creative tasks were addressed and ways of their solution were found. We hope that the continuation of the artistic project will continue in the further productive cooperation of all its participants!

Ushynsky University again has become at the epicenter of scientific and practical events. For several years already, the Social Humanitarian Faculty successfully cooperates with the public organization "Rehabilitation Center of St. Paul" and jointly organizes a series of activities aimed at improving the quality of providing psychological assistance by specialists-psychologists, social workers and educators.
On June 1-2, 2018, a third psychological conference "The Way to Healing: Experiences and Prospects" was held with the participation of leading specialists from Germany for 100 psychologists, social workers, and military personnel who provide assistance to survivors of traumatic events.
The participants of the conference listened to almost 10 reports, as well as had the opportunity to attend 14 master classes.

May 2018, Ushynsky University signed an agreement on cooperation with the LLC "Anti-plagiarism". From now on, the University has the opportunity to use the online information system "Unicheck", which is intended to reveal coincidences / identity / similarities in the texts of scientific and other works, free of charge.
This will provide an opportunity to thoroughly review the texts of theses of the applicants of scientific degrees for the availability of scientific results obtained by other authors and / or reproduction of published texts, intellectual products of other authors without corresponding references. At the same time, Unicheck's use of the system will make it possible to check for scientific publications of the periodicals of Ushynsky University free of charge for the availability of text borrowing during the year.
Today, the use of anti-plagiarism software becomes a necessity to adhere to the principles of academic integrity by participants in the educational process.
