The Educational and Scientific Institute of Natural and Mathematical Sciences, Informatics and Management was established on July 3, 2023 on the basis of the Faculty of Physics and Mathematics, which began its journey on April 1, 1920. The Institute is a powerful educational and scientific center in the south of Ukraine, on the basis of which more than 9,000 teachers of physics, mathematics, computer science, and managers have been trained, who successfully work in general education, pre-university and higher educational institutions, scientific institutions, etc. More than 150 graduates are honored teachers, scientists and educators of Ukraine, heads of the best educational institutions in Odesa region, more than 200 graduates are doctors of sciences, professors.

The Educational and Scientific Institute of Natural and Mathematical Sciences, Informatics and Management of Ushнnsky University is a continuation of educational traditions in the field of training teachers of mathematics, computer science, physics, natural sciences, modern public managers, top managers in the field of education. The institute trains bachelors, masters, postgraduates and doctoral students. Students obtain the following specialties:

A4 Secondary Education (Informatics);

A4 Secondary Education (Physics and Astronomy);

A4 Secondary Education (Mathematics);

A4 Secondary Education (Natural Sciences);

D4 Public Management and Administration;

A1 Educational Sciences.

The training of future managers and specialists takes place during lectures, practical, laboratory classes in modern auditoriums of robotics, STEM education and the NUS, educational and production practices in leading educational institutions.

The institute has established recognized scientific schools of professors M. M. Bilynska, A. O. Bryukhanov, O. R. Hokhman, A. Yu. Kiv, V. M. Pyvovarchyk, N. M. Chernenko and others. The institute's teachers have close ties with scientific institutions and educational institutions in Bulgaria, Israel, Italy, Canada, Latvia, Lithuania, Moldova, Germany, Poland, Slovakia, Slovenia, the USA, Finland, France, Sweden, and carry out scientific research within the framework of international grants from scientific foundations.

The educational process at the Educational and Scientific Institute of Natural Sciences, Informatics and Management is provided by the following departments:

− Department of Innovative Technologies and Methods of Teaching Natural Sciences (Head of the Department, Candidate of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, Associate Professor Dmytro DIACHOK).

− Department of Applied Mathematics and Informatics (Head of the Department, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor Tetyana MAZUROK);

− Department of Higher Mathematics and Statistics (Head of the Department, Doctor of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, Professor Vyacheslav PYVOVARCHYK);

− Department of Educational Management and Public Administration (Head of the Department, Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Associate Professor Oksana SAKALIUK).

The departments regularly organize international seminars and conferences (annual international conferences "Adaptive Learning Technologies", "Management and Innovation in Education: Experience, Problems and Prospects"). Teachers actively involve applicants in scientific work by conducting seminars, conferences, and Olympiads for students and young scientists (annual conference of students and young scientists "Informatics, Information Systems and Technologies", All-Ukrainian Olympiad in Mathematics for students of pedagogical universities).
