A concert of pop ensembles dedicated to International Rock and Roll Day

A bright concert of pop ensembles dedicated to the International Rock and Roll Day was held at the Educational and Scientific Institute of Musical and Performing Arts and Socio-Cultural Practices. The student art community once again confirmed its creative activity and high performing level. The event brought together students of 2–4 years majoring in 014 Secondary Education (Musical Art) and 025 Musical Art, who demonstrated a wide range of modern and popular music. The concert is the result of creative experimentation of students, which is implemented in the educational environment of the laboratory "Modern Art Studios". The concert program was distinguished by stylistic diversity, emotional richness and individual approach of each performer to the interpretation of musical material. The students performed famous compositions of world and Ukrainian pop music: “The Door” (Teddy Swims), soloist – Shevchenko Inga, “Heathens” (Twenty One Pilots), soloist – Mindzar Nastya, “Eldest Child” (2hollis), soloist – Chorna Kira, “Creep” (Radiohead), soloist – Polyakova Darya, “Svitlo yę chi nema”, soloist – Tolmachova Anna, “Listen to Your Heart” (Roxette), soloist – Kazanzhi Albina, “Just For You” (Lionel Richie), soloist – Shterenberg Mykhailo, “Prirva” (The Hardkiss), soloist – Soroka Darya, “Is It a Crime” (Sade), soloist – Usatiuk Oleksandra, “Tak grie” (Valentyn Strykalo), soloist – Gats Polina, “Go Away” (Weezer), soloist – Gats Polina, “Good 4 U” (Olivia Rodrigo), soloist – Varya Kyrychok. “Wind” (Akeboshi), soloist – Anna Tolmachova. “Holding Out for a Hero” (Bonnie Tyler), soloist – Elvira Litvin

A special feature of the concert was that each student demonstrated not only vocal abilities, but also performing and instrumental training, demonstrating the ability to confidently master various musical instruments. Such versatility of the performers emphasized their creative versatility, flexibility of thinking and ability for deep musical self-expression.

The concert of pop ensembles became not only a bright artistic event, but also an important platform for celebrating the creative achievements of students. According to the results of the performances, the participants were awarded in special nominations that emphasized their individuality: “Modern View of Jazz”, “Man – Orchestra”, “Discovery of the Year”, “Vocal-Instrumental Drive”, “Virtuoso Versatility”, “Artism Without Limits”, “Voice of Audience Hearts”.

Each of the nominations reflected the unique creative qualities of the performers, their ability to work in an ensemble, interpret musical material and establish emotional contact with the audience. Recognition of students’ achievements in such diverse categories testifies to the creative potential that is actively revealed in the learning process.
