On June 3-4, the 4th international karate tournament "Odesa open" took place in the sports complex of the NU "Odesa Polytechnic". 604 athletes representing 37 clubs of Ukraine and Moldova took part in the competition.

Oleksandr Zadorozhny, a student of the educational and scientific institute of physical culture, sports and rehabilitation (specialty 017 Physical culture and sports), won the first place in the individual category "Men up to 67 kg" and the first place in the team category.
