On September 16-23 a delegation of Ushynsky University visited the city of Harbin (PRC) as part of the rector A. V. Krasnozhon, the vice-rector for scientific work G. V. Muzychenko, the vice-rector for social and humanitarian and scientific of pedagogical work A. P. Nachev, dean of the faculty of foreign languages O. V. Popova, head of the international department O. O. Morgun and head of the educational and methodological department of Ushynsky University I. S. Tagieva. The purpose of the visit was to participate in a series of forums and round tables devoted to the functioning of the Confucius Institute Educational and Cultural Center and the development of strategies for the development of joint scientific and other academic projects of Ushynsky University and Harbin Engineering University.

The meeting of the Council of the Educational and Cultural Center "Confucius Institute" took place in a business atmosphere. The partners from Harbin Engineering University positively assessed the work of the Center for 2022.

At the meeting, the members of the Council of the Confucius Institute from the Ukrainian and Chinese sides constructively discussed the further development plans of the Center, the possibilities of consolidating joint efforts in order to expand cooperation in various fields. The rectors of the partner universities A. V. Krasnozhon and Yao Yu signed a number of documents regulating the financial relations and educational and cultural activities of the "Confucius Institute" for the 2023-2024 academic year.
