On December 21, on the basis of Odesa Lyceum No. 117, a solemn summary of the results of the academic year 2023 was held, at which the students of the Confucius class shared their successes in learning the Chinese language, and the best of them were awarded diplomas and gifts for conscientious study.
The event was attended by representatives of the state institution "South Ukrainian National Pedagogical University named after K. D. Ushynsky": vice-rector for international, social-humanitarian and scientific-pedagogical work A. P. Nachev, dean of the faculty of foreign languages O. V. Popova, head of the department of international relations O. O. Morgun. Employees of Ushynsky University congratulated students and exchanged gifts with colleagues from Odesa Lyceum No. 117.
They congratulated the students of the second grades, who had just begun their journey in learning the Chinese language. Despite the fact that Chinese is one of the most difficult languages in the world, students have already mastered the basics of hieroglyphics. Chinese experts of the third and fourth grades, who already have in their luggage not only the basics of the Chinese language, but also can become guides to the world of Chinese philosophy, because this fall the students took part in the "Confucius Day" holiday and got acquainted with his teachings.
