On January 22, 2024, at the meeting of the scientific (specialist) seminar on pedagogical sciences of Ushynsky University, a presentation and discussion of the dissertation research of Kateryna Haletska, the graduate student of the Department of Pedagogy on the topic "Formation of prognostic competence of future teachers of mathematics in higher education institutions" was held, scientific supervisor - associate professor Olha Galitsan. The reaseracher proposed her understanding of the value of prognostic competence, which allows a mathematics teacher to construct individual educational trajectories of students and predict likely changes in the field of mathematics education, using the potential of pedagogical prognostication. The head of the scientific seminar, Professor Tetyana Koycheva, emphasized the relevance and practical significance of the presented scientific research.
