On February 22, 2024, to the second anniversary of the beginning of the full-scale invasion of Russia against Ukraine and the tenth anniversary of the Day of the Heroes of the Heavenly Hundred, a meeting of students of Ushynsky University with Serhii Gutsaluk, the head of the Southern Interregional Department of the Ukrainian Institute of National Memory, historian and combatant, took place.
Serhii Gutsalyuk together with the participants of the event considered the chronology of the events of the Russian-Ukrainian war starting from 2014. He talked about his activities, achievements at the front and shared stories from his own life.
Part of the meeting took place in the form of a dialogue, during which the serviceman answered questions that interested the students.
We are sincerely grateful to all defenders of Ukraine for their contribution and dedication, which they have shown and continue to show today.
Special thanks to Serhii Gutsaluk, who was able to join this meeting and demonstrate by his example the importance of conveying the topic of modern war to student youth.
