Initiatives of the South Caucasus and Ukraine NCURA

On March 29, the seminar "National research funding: open tenders and available opportunities for attracting researchers from the South Caucasus and Ukraine" was held within the framework of the NCURA South Caucasus and Ukraine Initiative.
Ushynsky University was presented by Andrii Nachev, vice-rector for international, social-humanitarian and scientific-pedagogical work, Oleksandra Morhun, head of the international relations department, and Volodymyr Chernykh, coordinator of the international projects and programs center.
The seminar was dedicated to the program of national funding of scientific research in Georgia. The events were held as part of the NCURA initiative with the support of the University of Business and Technology (Tbilisi, Georgia), the American Council on International Education, and the United States Embassy in Georgia.
During this important meeting, the GMUS National Grant Management Platform (https://gmus.rustaveli.org.ge/) developed by the Shota Rustaveli National Science Foundation of Georgia was presented. This platform is designed to attract foreign scientists, including representatives of Ukraine, to participate in the implementation of scientific and educational projects in various fields. They discussed the possibilities of joint research and participation in joint research projects, where scientists of Ushynsky University can participate as consultants, supervisors and experts.
