In Ukraine, psychologists celebrate their professional holiday every year on April 23. Until this date, April 23, 2024, events were held to celebrate the All-Ukrainian Psychologist's Day at Ushynsky University.
As part of the celebration, a number of events were held for winners and scientific and pedagogical workers of the university.
The solemn event was opened by the vice-rector for scientific work, Doctor of Political Science, prof. Hanna MUZYCHENKO, who congratulated teachers and future psychologists on the professional holiday and noted that the profession of psychologist gained special significance in Ukraine during the war. In a difficult situation, more and more people turn to specialists for help. Your knowledge and skills help people become more harmonious, understand themselves and cope with difficult situations. Your work is unique and beautiful.
Dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities, Doctor of Psychology, Prof. Oksana VDOVICHENKO specified that the All-Ukrainian Psychologist's Day has been celebrated since 2004 at the initiative of the National Association of Practical Psychologists and Social Workers of Ukraine and also congratulated all involved in this profession.
Heads of psychological departments, Ph.D., prof. Maria KAZANZHY, Doctor of Psychology, Prof. Iryna SAVENKOVA and Doctor of Psychology, Prof. Svitlana SITNIK noted the relevance and demand of the profession of a psychologist in the modern world.
