On April 30, 2024, the VIII All-Ukrainian Scientific and Practical Conference "MODERN UKRAINIAN STATE: VECTORS OF DEVELOPMENT AND WAYS OF RESOURCE MOBILIZATION" was held, which was founded by the Department of Political Sciences and Law of Ushynsky University for many years in a row.
The events in the city of Odesa and in Ukraine in general, which are accompanied by unceasing air alarms due to constant shelling by the Russian Federation, did not become an obstacle for the annual scientific online event, which united about 100 participants from various regions of Ukraine and abroad to discuss topical issues of the Ukrainian socio-political life.
The geography of the participants grows year by year: Odesa, Kyiv, Uzhgorod, Lutsk, Vinnytsia, Dnipro, Poltava, Zaporizhzhia... Representatives of 25 universities and scientific institutions of Ukraine and 3 foreign universities (University of Bucharest (Romania), University of Economics in Bratislava (Slovakia), Transnistrian State University named after T. G. Shevchenko (Moldova)) participated in the work of 4 sections of the conference. Among the participants are 22 doctors of science, more than 50 PhDs, more than 20 graduate students.
The topics of the reports are diverse, but the vast majority are about the impact of the war and political processes, the consciousness of citizens, international politics, as well as about plans for the restoration of Ukraine and its territories, post-war politics, etc.
