On November 19, 2024, for applicants of the third (educational and scientific) level within the framework of the academic discipline "Educational Strategies and Development of Pedagogical Systems and Processes" for applicants of the 1st year of study in specialty 011 Educational, Pedagogical Sciences, a binary lecture on the topic "Reforming Higher Education in the Conditions of European Integration" was held. The speakers were Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor of the Department of Pedagogy Tetyana OSYPOVA and Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor, Vice-Rector for Scientific, Pedagogical and Innovative Activities, Professor of the Department of Pedagogy and Educational Management of the Municipal Institution of Higher Education "Odesa Academy of Continuing Education of the Odessa Regional Council" Viktoriia YAGODNIKOVA.
The lecture was attended by postgraduate students of the ESP "Educational, Pedagogical Sciences" and "Professional Education", scientific supervisors, teachers of the Department of Pedagogy of Ushynsky University, as well as postgraduate students of the Odesa Academy of Continuing Education. Tetyana Osypova recalled that the reform of higher education began in 2005, after Ukraine joined the Bologna Process, and noted what steps Ukraine had taken to integrate our country into the European and global educational and scientific space. Viktoriya Yagodnikova focused her attention on modern educational and scientific trends that are being introduced in higher education institutions to improve the quality of education and scientific and research activities of teachers and students, which contribute to the entry of Ukrainian higher education institutions into the European educational and scientific space.
After the lecture, postgraduate students and teachers had the opportunity to ask the speakers questions about the problem raised and express their own opinions. The lecture aroused considerable interest among its participants.
