During the week from September 26 till October 2 2016 in Odessa Region the 67th anniversary of the People's Republic of China was celebrated.

September 30, 2016 Consulate General of China in Odessa organized a solemn meeting of the regional and city administration, the diplomatic corps and heads of educational institutions to mark the entry into office of the new Consul General of China in Odessa Ms. Zhao Sinchzhun and the 67th anniversary of the People's Republic of China.

With the support of the Educational and Cultural Center "Confucius Institute", Student clubs, the Department of Arts and Graphics, the Department of Foreign Languages and the Department of Music and Choreography of South Ukrainian National Pedagogical University named after    K. D. Ushynsky it was organized a concert, a lottery and a photo exhibition "Chinese Story, 2016". The event was held in the city garden of Odessa.

Such events contribute to the development of new strategies of cooperation between Ukraine and China to strengthen friendly relations among student youth of the two countries.
