All-Ukrainian Psychologist's Day is not only a professional holiday for specialists in the field of psychology, but also an important opportunity to discuss current issues of mental health, exchange experiences and popularize psychological culture in society.
As part of the celebration of the holiday from April 22 to 25, 2025, interactive lectures, trainings, master classes and open discussions were held at the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities of Ushynsky University, dedicated to the topics of psychological safety, stress resistance, emotional burnout, support in wartime conditions, as well as the formation of self-regulation skills.
The events were attended not only by scientific and pedagogical workers, but also by students and postgraduates, namely, applicants for the second (master's) level of higher education in specialty 053 Psychology of the EPP "Applied and Practical Psychology" and the third (educational and scientific level) ESP "Psychology" of Ushynsky University, who had the opportunity to gain new knowledge, practical skills and feel the importance of the profession of a psychologist in modern society.
This year, the teachers of the department actively participated as participants in thematic events that combined both scientific and practical content. First of all, we are talking about the Round Table "My Unique Path to the Profession of a Psychologist", at which a lively dialogue took place between applicants-teachers-graduates-psychologists who have already found their own path in the profession.
At the same time, the scientific and pedagogical workers of the department organized a number of important events.
Thus, Bortov Andrii Serhiyovych, a postgraduate student, a teacher-intern at the Department of General and Differential Psychology and the head of the Scientific and Practical Center for Mental Health at Ushynsky University, organized and held the Day of Cooperation "Supporting Mental Health.
