In June, the Department of Philosophy, Sociology and Management of Socio-Cultural Activities initiated a discussion of the OPP Management of Socio-Cultural Activities in the specialty D 3 Management at the first (bachelor's) level of higher education.
The discussion was attended by scientific and pedagogical workers of Ushynsky University, including the Department of Philosophy, Sociology and Management of Socio-Cultural Activities, in particular, the head of the department, Doctor of Philosophy, Prof. E.R. Borinshtein; the guarantor of the program, Doctor of Sociological Sciences, Prof. O.V. Liseyenko, members of the working group, Doctor of Economics, Professor of the Department of Sports Games and Management of Physical Culture S.S. Romanenko, a first-year student of the first (bachelor's) level of higher education in the field of knowledge 02 Culture and Art, specialty 028 Management of Socio-Cultural Activities D.E. Pozdnyaya, employer, chairman of the board of the public organization "Odesa Holocaust Research Center", Candidate of Philosophical Sciences P.Yu. Kozlenko, teachers of the Department of Philosophy, Sociology and Management of Socio-Cultural Activities: Doctor of Philosophy. Sciences, Prof. Z.M. Atamanyuk, Doctor of Philosophy. Ivlyushkin, Honored Artist of Ukraine, director, chief choreographer of the Odesa Academic Ukrainian Music and Drama Theater named after V. Vasylko; O.G. Redko, Honored Worker of Culture of Ukraine, artistic director of the Odesa Academic Theater of Musical Comedy named after M. Vodyany; N.V. Kochubey, Doctor of Philosophy, Professor, member of the Ukrainian Association of Researchers of European Values in Education (AREVE), visiting professor at the University of Udine, Italy; O.I. Soldatenko, Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Associate Professor of the Department of Art Disciplines of the National University “Chernihiv Collegium” named after T.H. Shevchenko, guarantor of the EPP Management of Socio-Cultural Activities.
Having previously familiarized themselves with the EPP Management of Socio-Cultural Activities project, the meeting participants first listened to the information of the guarantor of the educational program, Prof. O.V. Liseyenko, who made a brief analytical review of the EPP Management of Socio-Cultural Activities, reported the position of the developers of the EPP Management of Socio-Cultural Activities. Next, the head of the Department of Philosophy, Sociology and Management of Socio-Cultural Activities, Ye.R. Borinshtein, spoke, emphasizing the good employment of students after graduating from this specialty at Ushynsky University and the value of diplomas that were accepted in Germany, Greece, Poland, other countries of the European Union, Canada and the USA. A 3rd year postgraduate student, specialty 033 Philosophy, L. Vasylyeva, who lives in the USA, noted the timeliness of the EPP Management of Socio-Cultural Activities, which is aimed at embedding education seekers in the trends of social development and the innovative nature of the EPP. Stakeholders, representatives of the academic community, and education seekers took part in the discussion. The EPP Management of Socio-Cultural Activities was assessed positively.
After analyzing the results of the discussion and the proposals made, a meeting of the Department of Philosophy, Sociology and Management of Socio-Cultural Activities was held, where the department's teachers, representatives of the working group, students and postgraduates discussed the proposed changes.
It was decided to make the following changes to the ESP:
- the discipline (Mandatory Component) "Methods of conducting socio-cultural research" to be reformatted into "Methods of conducting socio-cultural and socio-economic research", which is more appropriate for the Field of Knowledge D Business, Administration and Law of specialty D3 Management;
- the discipline (Mandatory Component) "Methods of conducting socio-cultural research" to be reformatted into "Methods of conducting socio-cultural and socio-economic research" to be transferred from the 7th semester to the first - Mandatory Component 8, in order to more effectively prepare students for practical training;
- add regional specificity to the Mandatory Component in the form of the discipline "Regional Event Management", especially since the department already has good experience in this area;
- pay attention to high-quality multidisciplinary practical training.
The expressed wishes and comments were taken into account and gratitude was expressed to everyone who supported the new EPP Management of Socio-Cultural Activities.
