On July 1, 2025, the Ushynsky University team presented the BOOST (Business Onboarding & Ongoing Skills Training) project by participating in the final Pitch Day - a presentation of the results of the pilot program of the Odesa National Economic University project "Creating a platform for university innovations and economic development. InnoHub." - a prestigious initiative aimed at developing innovations in education, technology and entrepreneurship. A total of 10 teams from 6 higher education institutions and research institutes took part in the presentation.
InnoHub is not just an accelerator, but an innovative environment in which solutions are formed for real challenges of modern society. The program brings together mentors from leading companies, investors, analysts, experts in digital transformation and social innovation to help startups go through the full development cycle - from an idea to a product ready for scaling. As part of the program, participants received intensive mentoring support, participated in a series of workshops on business modeling, marketing, UX/UI, and financial planning, underwent individual consultations, tested MVPs in partnership with businesses or communities, and prepared for the final presentation at Pitch Day.
The event took place in an online format, where each of the selected teams had the opportunity to present their product to mentors, experts, investors, and program partners.
The BOOST project is a response to the real challenges of small businesses, including the lack of effective training for new employees, high staff turnover, and the complexity of implementing their own educational platforms. Our solution involves creating personalized training modules based on proven LMS platforms with full technical support. BOOST enables business owners to quickly train staff, improve customer service, and reduce losses due to ineffective adaptation.
As part of the event, our Ushynsky University team presented:
- a deep understanding of the market issues;
- unique product advantages — personalization, interactive format (video, comics, tests), ease of implementation;
- a pilot partnership with a floor covering distributor;
- a clear vision of the market, marketing strategy, and scaling potential;
- the need for investments for development and readiness for partnerships.
A multidisciplinary team is working on the implementation of the BOOST project, each participant of which has significant experience in their field:
- Project Manager Volodymyr Volodymyrovych Chernykh — Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Associate Professor, Associate Professor of the Department of Applied Mathematics and Informatics, Coordinator of International Programs at Ushynsky University;
- Project Researcher Nataliya Mykolaivna Chernenko, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor, Professor of the Department of Educational Management and Public Administration, Director of the South Ukrainian Center for Professional Development of Managers and Specialists in the Socioeconomic Sphere at Ushynsky University;
- Content Architect Korablev Vyacheslav Anatolyovich, Associate Professor of the Department of Applied Mathematics and Informatics, Ushynsky University, an experienced trainer and scientist in the field of applied informatics.
- Content Developer Korablev Viktor Vyacheslavovich, a 1st year postgraduate student of the Department of Pedagogy in specialty 011 Educational, Pedagogical Sciences, Head of the Educational and Scientific Laboratory of Artificial Intelligence and Robotics, Ushynsky University;
- Communications Specialist Soloveichuk Olena Maksymivna - 2nd year postgraduate student of the Department of Pedagogy in specialty 011 Educational, Pedagogical Sciences, Specialist of the South Ukrainian Center for Professional Development of Managers and Specialists in the Socioeconomic Sphere, Trainer in Marketing and Promotion of Educational Products.
The BOOST project is more than an educational product. This is a strategic tool for those who want to quickly train a team, increase productivity and adapt their business to modern challenges. By participating in the InnoHub program, we have a chance not only to improve the project, but also to reach a new level of implementation thanks to mentoring support, partnerships and investments.
