On October 10, 2025, the Scientific and Practical Center for Mental Health of Ushynsky University celebrated its first birthday and joined the events on the occasion of World Mental Health Day.

This day united graduates, teachers, specialists and guests around the idea of ​​care, resilience and mutual support.

The event was attended by:

Rector of Ushynsky University, Doctor of Historical Sciences, Professor Andrii Krasnozhon;

Director of the Educational and Scientific Institute of Psychology and Social Sciences, Doctor of Psychological Sciences, Professor Oksana Vdovichenko;

Director of the Center for Mental Health, psychologist, teacher Andriy Bortov;

Practical psychologist, representative of the Psychological Service of the University Iryna Sazonova;

The Center team, graduates, practicing psychologists, representatives of public organizations, participants in the psychological community.

As part of the event, a lecture hall was held, where warm conversations took place with practicing psychologists, teachers, the University's Psychological Service and participants of the event.

The meeting was held in a warm and meaningful atmosphere. Words of gratitude, support and belief in the fact that mental health should be a natural part of the educational environment were expressed.

New events, new meetings and steps towards the formation of a culture of mental health in the university community are ahead.
