On November 17, 2025, in accordance with the European integration strategy, a master class was held at the Educational and Scientific Institute of Music, Performing Arts and Sociocultural Practices by Tamara Lukasheva, a jazz vocal teacher at the Institute of Music in Osnabrück (Germany). The master class was organized on the basis of the educational laboratory "Modern Art Studios" and the Department of Theoretical, Musical, Instrumental and Vocal Training of Ushynsky University. Tamara Lukasheva is a composer, singer, pianist, who combines her creative performing activities with teaching jazz vocals at the Institute of Music in Osnabrück.
- Lukasheva is rightfully considered one of the brightest representatives of the modern European jazz scene. Her creative activity includes numerous international collaborations: in particular, participation in the projects of Hans Lüdemann Trio Ivoire, the duet Matria with Matthias Schriefl, joint performances with Markus Stockhausen and Martin Hafizi (Half Easy Trio). The high level of her performing skills and original interpretative concept is confirmed by the award of the New German Jazz Prize in Mannheim - one of the prestigious awards determined by public voting.
The master class was held in the format of an open interactive discussion, which contributed to effective pedagogical and artistic exchange. The atmosphere of creative dialogue stimulated students to actively participate in the discussion: the participants asked numerous questions about the features of jazz improvisation, vocal performance techniques and the specifics of working with a vocal ensemble. During the event, Tamara Lukasheva demonstrated a number of vocal works that represented various stylistic trends in modern vocal jazz art, emphasizing its genre diversity and improvisation. The event demonstrated the relevance of the interaction of Ukrainian music education with leading European performing practices and contributed to the expansion of professional competencies of future music teachers and art school teachers.
