On February 9, a solemn festive ceremony of awarding diplomas for the Master of Musical Art and Choreography took place.
This real celebration took place in the assembly hall of Ushynsky University. Graduates of specialties 024 Choreography and 025 Musical Art received their master's diplomas.
The event began with a minute of silence in memory of all those who died for our Ukraine, for the opportunity to study for us and carry their mission into its cultural space. The Rector of Ushynsky University, Professor Andriy Vasylyovych Krasnozhon, delivered a welcoming speech. He thanked the students for high-quality training in difficult conditions, for their dedication to their work and creativity. He thanked the teachers for their high-quality work and high professional level. The graduates were congratulated by the Director of the Educational and Scientific Institute of Musical and Performing Arts and Socio-Cultural Practices, Professor Olena Evgenivna Rebrova. She thanked the students, parents, and the University administration for high-quality training conditions in such difficult times. She noted the high level of Ukrainian musical, pedagogical, and choreographic education, its competitiveness in the labor market in different countries of the world. She wished all graduates further creative success. The main thing is to preserve culture, national values, and attract young people to them.
Many of our graduates are citizens of China, who were in Odesa during all the difficult times, studied very well, participated in competitions, concerts. They became a real institute family.
On behalf of the graduates, Maria Farmagey, Master of Choreography, spoke. She thanked the teachers for high-quality teaching, for sincerity of communication, for inspiration in work, for a comfortable atmosphere in the educational process, and interesting creative projects.
After the presentation of diplomas, the students' anthem "Gaudeamus" was played - a recording performed by the mixed choir of Ushynsky University under the direction of Professor Zh.Kh. Kasynsky
The event ended with a wonderful concert of the Institute's students. Bright pop vocal numbers of students D. Polyakova, V. Kyrychok, E. Lytvyn, dance compositions of T. Skrut, Yao Jinyu and participants of the wonderful ensemble "PianoDrums", laureate of the international competition consisting of: Yu Qijia, Hu Yi (piano), Ivan Petrov, Olha Kochneva, Deng Siyu (percussion instruments) once again proved the high professional level of our musicians and choreographers.
Congratulations to our masters! Great achievements and creative successes in art and happiness, peace in life.
