From 02/10/2026 to 02/20/2026, Vice-Rector for Research Hanna MUZYCHENKO, Dean of the Faculty of Foreign Languages ​​Oleksandra POPOVA, and Head of the International Relations Department Oleksandra MORHUN participated in a series of round tables and working meetings in Sanya (Hainan Province, PRC), provided for by the face-to-face part of the advanced training program under the program "Global Governance and European Integration" (2025−2026) on the platform of Harbin Engineering University in the context of China's large-scale global infrastructure and investment strategy "One Belt, One Road" (Belt and Road Initiative, BRI).

Led by the Deputy Director of the International Department of Harbin Engineering University, Professor DIN Xin, during the internship, strategic research directions in the field of social sciences and humanities were identified on the issues of understanding and interpreting China's Global Initiatives in the Eurasian space: the Global Development Initiative (GDI), the Global Security Initiative (GSI), the Global Civilization Initiative (GCI), and the Global Governance Initiative (GGI).

The cultural program contributed to the immersion in the traditional treasure of China and the deepening of the linguistic and cultural knowledge of the program participants.

Based on the results of the face-to-face and distance learning, the internship participants will receive the corresponding certificates from Harbin Engineering University.

Based on the results of constructive discussions, Ushynsky University demonstrates its readiness to strengthen cooperation between China and Ukraine, expand scientific horizons, introduce new formats for implementing academic exchange programs, and consistently promote the deepening of meaningful dialogue between partner universities.
