On February 19, 2026, the Ivan Franko Library celebrated its 135th anniversary. The event brought together famous scientists, historians, and artists in a joint celebration of a significant date. The real artistic decoration of the holiday was the performances of talented graduates of the Educational and Scientific Institute of Musical and Performing Arts and Socio-Cultural Practices, who were prepared on the basis of the laboratory "Modern Art Studios". Sofia Han, Liu Zhiguo, and Liang Weihong demonstrated high performing skills. Their professional performances gave the audience vivid emotions and created a sublime atmosphere of the holiday. Honored guests were invited to the celebration: V. O. Kuznetsov, Director of the Archaeological Museum I. V. Pistruil, Director of the Center "Museums of I. I. Mechnikov ONU; V. M. Khmarsky, Doctor of Historical Sciences, Professor of the Department of History of Ukraine of the I. I. Mechnikov ONU, who congratulated the library staff and transferred their own publications to its funds: "Archaeographic Activities of the Odesa Society of History and Antiquities" and "In Search of Harmony". A special look at the past was presented by the students-historians of the I. I. Mechnikov ONU, who prepared a modern multimedia project about the history of the creation of the library.
