August 18-21, SEANERGY Global Sport Expo - the first large-scale sports exhibition was held in Odesa, which is held with the support of the National Olympic Committee of Ukraine, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, Odesa City Council.

The event was attended by the University's Rector, Academician Olexiy Chebykin, who told young athletes from various cities of Ukraine about a set of techniques for psychologists training for athletes.

The graduate student of the Department of Theory and Methodology of Practical Psychology of our University, the two-time Olympic champion Yuri Cheban, also shared his experience with preparing young people for responsible competitions at this event. The Head of the Department Associate Professor of the University Anatoliy Bosenko told about certain physiological criteria of athlete's readiness for competitions. The event was also attended by Borys Sheremet, the Dean of the Faculty of Physical Culture and Rehab. There were interesting performances of the graduate of the university, the repeated prize-winner of the Olympic Games Mykola Milchev, and also the Chairman of the National Olympic Committee of Ukraine and outstanding sportsman Sergiy Nazarovych Bubka.
