On February 12-14, 2022, the final taekwondo competitions were held in Ivano-Frankivsk according to the program of the XVII Summer Universiade of Ukraine.

Representatives of 29 higher education institutions of Ukraine from 13 oblasts (Volyn, Khmelnytsky, Kharkiv, Kyiv, Odesa, Sumy, Dnipropetrovsk, Vinnytsia, Rivne, Ivano-Frankivsk, Cherkasy, Lviv and Chernihiv) and the city of Kyiv took part in the competition.

Odessa region in the final competitions in taekwondo was represented by a national team, which included students of Ushynsky University.

We sincerely congratulate the winners of the university with high sports results:

- Semanyuk Victor - with 1 place in the category of 74 kg;

- Dovga Catherine - with 1 place in the category of 46 kg;

- Nesteruk Vitaly - with 3rd place in the category of 63 kg.
