September 25, 2015 in the city garden of Odessa Educational and Cultural Center "The Confucius Institute" a solemn event "International Day of Confucius Institutes" was held, which was attended by students and teachers of South Ukrainian National Pedagogical University named after K.D.Ushynsky, teachers and students of leading educational institutions, representatives of the Chinese Diaspora, media and students of Chinese language courses, students from Odessa universities, guests and residents of South Palmyra.

Among distinguished guests were: Consul General of the People's Republic in Odessa Mr. Cao Yunlong, the Director of International Relations of Odessa City Council Svitlana Boyeva, representatives of the Department of Science and Education of the Odessa City Council, Department of Culture and Tourism of the Odessa City Council, heads of branches "The Confucius Institute "and others.
