On May 12, the Department of Gymnastics and Martial Arts held an online event "Innovative technologies in physical culture and sports" dedicated to the professional holiday of scientists of Ukraine - Science Day.

In the form of demonstration of the practical component of scientific research conducted within the work of the educational and scientific center "Physical Culture and Sports in Education", presentations of research of graduate students majoring in 017 Physical Culture and Sports were presented:

- Gulyakin S.V. "Special physical training of skaters for competitions at the stage of specialized basic training in the preparatory period";

- Kosyanchuk O.V "The effectiveness of the use of Pilates exercises as a means of correcting the musculoskeletal s.ystem of athletes after training loads (on the material of sports aerobics)";

- Yevtushenko O.V. "Improvement of physical and functional fitness of Greco-Roman wrestlers at the stage of preliminary basic training";

- Simak N.D. "Rationalization of the process of teaching swimming to children 7-9 years using non-traditional approaches."

Postgraduate research makes a great contribution to the development of domestic sports science.
