D. Ushynsky". by archaeologist R.-O. Dragoman; doctor of historical sciences, rector of Ushynsky University A. V. Krasnozhon and archaeologist K. I. Nikolaye.

The study presented to the attention of the reader examines the official policy of cultural heritage in the territory of "Romanian" Transnistria in 1941-1944 by the Antonescu regime.
The political instrumentalization of archeology during the Second World War in the context of the Holocaust is presented in an unexpected light. This topic is one of the most sensitive, as it exposes the official image of Romanian archaeological science to revision. The book contains a huge volume of documents from the archive of the Institute of Archeology named after Vasyl Pirvan of the Romanian Academy of Sciences in Bucharest, a number of photographic materials, transcripts of Radu Vulpe's radio speeches and important data found in the Odesa Regional State Archives.
