A round table lecture "Modern Teacher in Ukraine and Israel: challenges and perspectives"

A round-table lecture "Modern Teacher in Ukraine and Israel: challenges and perspectives" for students of the first and second levels of higher education who study in the specialty 014.021 Secondary Education (English Language and Literature). Scientific and pedagogical staff of the Department of German Philology and Methods of Teaching Foreign Languages joined the event. The number of participants was 37 people.
The opening speech was delivered by the head of the department of Germanic philology and methods of teaching foreign languages, Professor Yeremenko Tetiana Yevstafiivna, who reported on the long-term experience of academic cooperation between Ushynsky University and Ariel University.
The program of the event included speeches by invited lecturers and discussions. Speakers Professor Nitza Davidovitch (Head of Education Department, Ariel University) and Doctor Kateryna Lytvyn (Education Department, Ariel University) told what challenges school teachers and university professors in Israel face and what programs are being developed by Ariel University to overcome them. After the speeches of the lecturers, those present took part in the discussion of the challenges faced by the modern teacher in Ukraine in comparison with Israel, and ways to overcome them.
