January 22 is a special date in the history of Ukraine. On this day, we celebrate two important holidays - the proclamation of the Ukrainian People's Republic and the Act of Unification of Ukrainian Lands.

On January 22, 2024, at the meeting of the scientific (specialist) seminar on pedagogical sciences of Ushynsky University, a presentation and discussion of the dissertation research of Kateryna Haletska, the graduate student of the Department of Pedagogy on the topic "Formation of prognostic competence of future teachers of mathematics in higher education institutions" was held, scientific supervisor - associate professor Olha Galitsan.

The Faculty of History and Philology of Ushynsky University has cultivated its good name for decades. And although the destiny of each of its graduates was different, many of them built a successful career in the scientific and educational fields, in news agencies and press services of domestic and foreign media, tried themselves as private tutors, independent columnists, copywriters, presenters news, editors and literary critics, reviewers of cultural and historical monuments of Ukraine, lecturers-tour guides, etc.

On January 12, Ushynsky University held an online round table "PAGOSTE: Results and use. Creation of step-by-step Instructions for the implementation of partnership management for higher education institutions of Ukraine" within the framework of the plan for sustainable development of the results of the Erasmus+ PAGOSTE project "New management mechanisms based on partnership and standardization of the training of vocational education teachers in Ukraine".

By the decision of the Attestation Board of the Ministry of Education and Culture of Ukraine dated December 20, 2023, approved by the order of the Ministry of Education and Culture of Ukraine dated December 20, 2023 No. 1543, four scientific and pedagogical staff were awarded academic titles based on the decisions of the academic council of Ushinsky University
