On March 27, 2025, Olha Bondarenko, Associate Professor of the Department of Gymnastics and Physical Education and Sports Technologies, held a practical lesson on the topic "Insurance, assistance and self-insurance techniques in gymnastics" for the students of the first (bachelor's) level of higher education in specialty 017 Physical Culture and Sports within the framework of studying the discipline "Gymnastics and Music and Rhythmic Education".
On March 25, 2025, the Dean of the Faculty of Foreign Languages, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor of the Department of Translation and Theoretical and Applied Linguistics Oleksandra POPOVA, Head of the Department of Translation and Theoretical and Applied Linguistics, Candidate of Philology, Associate Professor Ilona DERIK, Head of the Department of International Relations, PhD (Educational and Pedagogical Sciences), Assistant Professor of the Department of Translation and Theoretical and Applied Linguistics Oleksandra MORHUN took part in an important online meeting with representatives of the Directorate-General for Translation of the European Commission, during which the European Master’s in Translation (EMT) competency framework was presented.
Within the framework of Integrity Week - 2025, in order to familiarize themselves with the requirements for compliance with the anti-corruption legislation of Ukraine in the field of higher education, informational and explanatory meetings were held at the state institution "South Ukrainian National Pedagogical University named after K.D. Ushynsky" with higher education applicants of all faculties and educational and scientific institutes, as well as scientific and pedagogical workers, management and administration of the HEI with Serhii DEREVIANKIN, Candidate of Law, Associate Professor, Head of the Authorized Unit for the Prevention and Detection of Corruption at the University.
Modern challenges require strengthening civic education and the development of democratic competencies among students, especially in the context of a full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine.
On March 24, 2025, within the framework of the university's "Guest Lecturer" program, a lecture was held by Liliia Ivanivna Yakovleva, Doctor of Political Sciences, Professor of the Department of Sociology of the National University "Odesa Law Academy" on the topic "Political Analysis and Consulting: Sociological Methods in the Assessment and Forecasting of Political Processes".
On March 24, 2025, as part of the Greek Culture Week in Odesa, with the assistance of the Department of International Cooperation, Culture and Marketing of the Odesa City Council and in cooperation with the Municipal Art Gallery, an exhibition of creative and diploma works by graduates of the Faculty of Art and Graphics “Under the Sun of Greece” was opened in the Odesa City Council.
On March 22, 2025, the International Cultural Center "Union" hosted a solemn award ceremony for the laureates of the rating "100 Successful Women of Odesa Region: Together - to Victory!".
As part of the Academic Integrity Week, a roundtable discussion was held at Ushynsky University on March 21, 2025 on the topic: "Artificial Intelligence and Academic Integrity." The event aimed to initiate an open dialogue between teachers on the current challenges and opportunities facing the academic environment in connection with the active implementation of artificial intelligence technologies.
