May 15, 2019, a meeting of the University of Warsaw and Universities of Ukraine took place, in which the Rector of Ushynsky University, Academician Olexii Chebykin and the Vice-Rector of the University of Warsaw signed a Memorandum on cooperation in mobility. In addition, the Rector of Ushynsky University, Academician Olexii Chebykin has presented the conditions for the holding of the international symposium "Youth for Dialogue and Tolerance in Elimination of Social Conflict" in May 2020.

May 13, 2019, at South Ukrainian National Pedagogical University named after K. D. Ushynsky, with the assistance of the Office of the Fulbright Program in Ukraine, a presentation of educational and scientific competitions was held by Ms. Oksana Zubchenko, the graduate of this international grant program.

Congratulations to the students of the Faculty of Music and Choreography on the victory of the instrumental ensemble composed of Luo Yang and Song Xiaodong (ensemble performance class of Associate Professor Gorozhankina O.Yu.) who won the First Prize of the International Festival of Music and Academic Vocal "Golden Starfall" in Dnipro city on May 11-13, 2019.

May 10-12 2019, the All-Ukrainian festival-competition "ART LAND FEST" "TALANTED ODESA" was held in Odesa. In the nomination "Instrumental genre (piano)", the winner of the first prize is the 3rd year student of the Faculty of Music and Choreography Tetyana Kozlova (class of associate professor Horozhankina O.Yu.).

May 10-11, 2019, Open Voice Competition "STAR BEL CANTO" was held in Odesa in memory of Mykola Leonidovych Ogrenych. The Grand Prix of the competition has been received by the 4-th year student of Faculty of Music and Choreography, Ushynsky University, Margarita Beschastna (class of senior teacher T.G. Shafarchuk, concertmaster                              A. Yu. Turbinsky).

Within the framework of the development of international cooperation with the People's Republic of China, on May 7-10, 2019, a delegation from Lingnan University headed by Vice-President, Professor Dai Thu visited South Ukrainian National Pedagogical University named after K. D. Ushynsky.

May 7, 2019, solemn events on the occasion of the Day of Remembrance and Reconciliation and the 74th anniversary of the Victory over Nazism in the Second World War were held at South Ukrainian National Pedagogical University named after K. D. Ushynsky.
