August 30, 2018, a working meeting was held between the executors of the international project MoPED (Erasmus +) from Ushynsky University, which considered the need for adjusting the content of the questions developed by Boris Grinchenko Kyiv University of for the WP1 project. At the same time, the issues of monitoring of the opinions of teachers, students of Ushynsky University, teachers of educational institutions of the Odessa region on the level of introduction of new pedagogical and digital technologies into the educational process were considered.

August 12-23, 2018, with the support of Ushynsky University, a visit was made by university lecturers and other educational institutions to the cities of Harbin and Beijing of the People's Republic of China under the program "Innovations in the system of school and university education of the People's Republic of China".

The reporting Conference of the Educational and Cultural Center "Confucius Institute" at Ushynsky University was held on August 16, 2018 in Harbin Engineering University at the meeting of the Board of Partners. The results of the Center for the years 2017-2018 have been presented by the co-director of the Confucius Institute from the Ukrainian side - Olexandra Popova, the Chinese side- Ding Xin. After the report there have been a discussion of the results of the work. Among the significant achievements are the following:

August 16, 2018, the official opening of the "Ukrainian Cultural Research and Information Center of South Ukrainian National Pedagogical University named after K. D. Ushynsky" was held on the basis of Harbin Engineering University. The representatives of the diplomatic missions of the Government of the People's Republic of China, university rectors and public organizations have been invited to the event. The representative delegation of scientists, teachers of various educational institutions, students in the number of 25 people have arrived from Odessa to Harbin.

July 17, 2018, on the basis of the Odessa Scientific Information Center for Euro-Atlantic Cooperation of South Ukrainian National Pedagogical University named after K. D. Ushynsky, a meeting of the United States navy sailors, participants of the international training "Sea-Breeze-2018", was held with trainers and students of the higher education institution.

July 14, 2018, at South Ukrainian National Pedagogical University named after K.D. Ushynsky, the International Forum of Scientists, Educators, Culture and Arts - Eurasia Culture Forum (E.C.F) was held.

July 13, 2018, Ivan Kopichenko, Regional Coordinator of the EGAP Program (e-government for the accountability of the authorities and community participation), provided eight scholarships on e-governance and e-democracy to the Library of Ushynsky University.
