Patriotic and educational event
For the Day of Defenders and Defendresses of Ukraine, a patriotic and educational event was held on the teams platform. The students of the first year of the Faculty of History and Philology under the leadership of the teacher of the Department of Ukrainian and Foreign Literature Pavlyuk N.L. took an active part in its organization. In the introduction to the presentation, the history of the holiday and its significance was told, poetry was recited, and a poster was drawn with words of thanks to our defenders.



On October 18, 2022, the International scientific and practical conference "Social capital - the basis of the consolidation of society" took place and was held in a remote format on the Zoom platform. The organizers are the Department of Philosophy, Sociology and Management of Sociocultural Activities of Ushinsky University (Head – Prof. Yevhen Borinshtein), the Southern Ukrainian Branch of the Sociological Association of Ukraine (Chairman – Prof. Olena Liseyenko) and the Association of Sociologists and Demographers of the Republic of Moldova (Head – Victor Mocanu, Doctor of Sociology).
On October 14, we celebrate more than one holiday. But all these commemorative dates are about defending our faith: in freedom, in unity, in independence. And most importantly, about our right to determine our own path. The struggle for the right to be Ukrainian has been going on for centuries. And we continue to fight until now!
On the occasion of The Day of Defenders and Defendresses of Ukraine, on the initiative of the students of the Faculty of Physics and Mathematics, a collection of charitable contributions was opened, to which students and teachers joined.
On October 14, 2022, within the framework of patriotic educational work, scientific and pedagogical workers of the Department of Biology and Health Care of the State Institution "South Ukrainian National Pedagogical University named after K. D. Ushynsky", namely associate professor Filiptsova Kateryna Anatoliivna and senior teacher Dyshel Galyna Oleksandrivna, held a curatorial an hour dedicated to the Day of Defenders and Defendresses of Ukraine.
