According to the concluded agreements with the bodies of state power and local self-government of the region, the students of higher education of Ushynsky University, specialty 281 "Public Administration", started their practice.

On January 27-30, 2022 in Lviv was the Championship of Ukraine in sambo wrestling among juniors, which was won by Daryna Zhukova, a student of Ushynsky University.

On January 29, 2022, the Educational and Cultural Center “Confucius Institute” of South Ukrainian National Pedagogical University named after K. D. Ushynsky held a solemn event "Chinese New Year - Year of the Water Tiger", which was attended by Rector Krasonozhon Andriy Vasyliovych, Chinese language teachers, representatives of the center's secretariat and student council.

On January 21, 2022, a meeting of experts was held to create conditions for physical development, physical activity, strengthening and preserving the health of children and youth of Odesa region, strengthening their values and motivation for regular physical culture and sports.

On January 14, 2022, Ushynsky University hosted a public defense of the dissertation "Formation of aesthetic competence of future music teachers in vocational training" for the degree of Doctor of Philosophy in the field of knowledge 01 Education / Pedagogy in specialty 015 - "Professional Education".

On January 14, 2022, Ushynsky University hosted a public defense of the dissertation of Yu Hayui, a graduate student of the Department of Pedagogy "Formation of methodological culture of future choreography teachers in vocational training" for the degree of Doctor of Philosophy in the field of knowledge 01 Education / Pedagogy in specialty 015.

Students of the Faculty of Music and Choreography won prizes at the V All-Ukrainian Multi-Genre Art Festival - Competition "Various Gems" which took place on January 9, 2022 in Lviv.
