September 15-16, 2018, the Palace of Sports of the city of Mykolayiv gathered 90 fighters from all over the country to host the Ukrainian Championship for Greco-Roman wrestling among adults, with the support of the Ministry of Youth and Sports of Ukraine.
September 4-15, 2018, the 5th International Scientific and Practical Conference "Actual Problems of Recreational Psychology and Pedagogy of Childhood" was held in Odesa. September 13, 2018, within the framework of expanding international academic cooperation, South Ukrainian National Pedagogical University named after K. D. Ushynsky was visited by the member of the Polish Pedagogical Society, the Secretary of the Polish Academy of Pedagogical Sciences, Doctor of Humanities, Professor Jerzy Nikitorkovich, Department of Intercultural Education of the Faculty of Pedagogy and Psychology of the University in Bialystok (Poland).
For the first time in the history of Ukraine in Odessa there has been a large-scale open-water swimming competition - OCEANMAN. This is a series of competitions that are staged in several cities throughout the year. Since 2016 OCEANMAN is an international open-water world championship for both amateurs and professionals.
The students of the Faculty of Music and Choreography will take part in subscription concerts of the Odessa Philharmonic in the new concert season. The ensemble of percussion instruments under the direction of the teacher of the chair of musical and instrumental preparation, candidate of art studies Hanna Ralo will present to the listeners unexpected interpretations of the most famous works and introduce the public to those that are rarely performed.
