Congratulations to Li Yue, the postgraduate student in music and choreography with a victory at the IV International Festival and Competition «Pereyaslav dyvogray», which took the 1st place and received the title of laureate. The supervisor is Doctor of Pedagogy, Professor Olena Rebrova.
April 25-26, 2017 at the athletics stadium "Dynamo" within the regional XXVth Student Games there was held a championship among universities athletics. Ushynsky University team which consists of students who are trained at the department of theory and methodology of physical culture and sports disciplines, won the championship the first place with 1192 points.

April 21-24, Kyiv, at the sports complex of National Technical University “KPI” there were held final competitions of the XIIIth Summer Universiade of Ukraine 2017 in swimming. The general management and organization of the competition was carried out by the Committee on Physical Education and Sports, the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine and Ukrainian Swimming Federation.
April 21, 2017 within the framework of the international cooperation South Ukrainian national pedagogical university named after K. D. Ushynsky was visited by the Director of "Media business", lecturer Higher School of Information Systems Management, Ms. Olena Fedorova (Riga, Latvia).
April 20, 2017 within the international cooperation representatives of the Los-Angeles University (USA) visited Ushynsky University.
April 20, 2017 in the conference hall of the library there were held seminars on "Scientific publications: basic requirements, a competitive model based on Web of Science» and "Opportunities Web of Science platform for high-quality research." The lecturer was Iryna Olexandrivna Tychonkova, candidate of biological sciences, senior research fellow at the Institute of Molecular Biology and Genetics, NAS of Ukraine, an expert on scientometric company resources Slarivate Analytics (IP & Science Thomson Reuters).
April 18-19, 2017 a series of lectures for students and lecturers of Ushynsky University was conducted by Bard Borch Michaelson, Assosiate Professor from the Arctic University of Norway.
