Ushinsky University won the title and winners of the first prize in the International Choral Festival-Competition "A RUGINIT FRUNZA DIN VII" (Chisinau, Moldova), which took place remotely on October 14-17 2020.

For the first time in Southern Ukraine regionthe grand opening of the Confucius Class took place in Odesa specialized school №117 on the basis of the Educational and Cultural Center "Confucius Institute" of Ushynsky University.

On October 15-16, 2020 at the Faculty of Preschool Pedagogy and Psychology of South Ukrainian National Pedagogical University named after K.D. Ushynsky within the Week of Academic Integrity at the Faculty in online format was a round table on "Strl + C - Strl + V: student in risk group ".

On 15-16 October 2020 on the basis of the Department of Music Art and Choreography the VI International Scientific and Practical Conference of Young Scientists and Students "Music and Choreography in the context of Cultural Development of Society" was held on-line.

On October 15, 2020, at the first meeting of the Odesa City Council Commission on Public Budget, the team of teachers and students of Ushynsky University (Muzychenko G.V., Poluyaktova O.V., Ivchenko L.I., Klyuyev G. and Tsarychanska K.) certificates of successful completion of studies at the School of Public Budget of Odesa - 2020.

On October 1, 2020, Associate Professor of Gymnastics and Martial Arts, Doctor of Physical Education and Sports Todorova Valentнna Georgiіvna in cooperation with stakeholders held a binary class with the participation of Vice President of the Regional Aerobics Federation Kosyanchuk Oksana Viktorшvna with students of higher education and sports. The purpose of the lesson is to increase the level of knowledge of applicants for higher education, the acquisition of practical skills. Kosyanchuk OV conducted a lecture with applicants for higher education with a presentation on "Innovative tools used in technical and aesthetic sports." During the binary session, the main directions and means of the Pilates system were discussed, as well as the problematic issues of athletes' recovery. The Vice President of the Regional Aerobics Federation shared her experience and answered all the questions of the audience.

For two weeks, the university hosted meetings of freshmen with representatives of the university administration, the Psychological Service, the Student Council and the Trade Union.
