Results of the competition on national and patriotic education of Ushynsky University students
On May 21, 2020, as part of the celebration of the Day of Ukrainian embroidery at South Ukrainian National Pedagogical University named after K.D. Ushynsky, the 2nd round of the essay contest "WHAT PATRIOTISM AND LOVE FOR THE MOTHERLAND ARE FOR ME" took place in a remote format. The organizer of the competition of creative works on national-patriotic education of students was the Department of Pedagogy of Ushynsky University.

On the occasion of Science Day, the Department of Educational Management and Public Administration of South Ukrainian National Pedagogical University named after K. D. Ushynsky co-organized a round table "Problematic issues of decentralization policy formation and implementation in Ukraine" within the framework of the Program to promote public activity "Join!", within the US-funded Community Action Program, International Development Organization (USAID) and the Pact in Ukraine.

On May 15, 2020, Hanna Ivanivna Martynova passed away
The staff of South Ukrainian National Pedagogical University named after K.D. Ushynsky is deeply saddened by the heavy loss - on May 15, 2020, Martynova Hanna Ivanivna, the first Head of the Department of Mathematics Methods at Ushynsky University, passed away.
IV International Online Art Competition "Musical South Palmira"
In the IV International Internet Art Competition "Musical South Palmira" (Odesa), the winner of the second (master's) level Li Hunyan (class teacher A.I. Mamykina) received the first prize in the category "Instrumental Art".
