Within weeks of Germany in Ukraine there was held a contest "Music unites us!" in Odesa for the best performance of works by German composers. The competition was held by the the Bavarian House (Odesa). Among the winners there is a significant number of students of the faculty of music and choreography. The winners in the nomination "Academic vocal":
The International television festival-contest "Ukrainian unison" was held in Kyiv. The victory in the category "Academic singing" received students of the faculty of music and choreography Hou Kai – first prize and Chen Ilin - second prize, class of associate professor N.O. Roytenko, accompanist Elena Dovgan.

The important issues of the day were discussed: renewable energy, combating climate change, responsible consumption. The round table was attended by lecturers of the Department of Political Science and Law, graduate students, students who study Psychology, History, Law and Political Science.
November 23, there was a feast of the Korean Language at South Ukrainian National Pedagogical University named after K.D.Ushynsky. The event was organized Educational Scientific Information and Cultural Center of the Republic of Korea.
The department of theory and methodology of physical education and sports sciences conducted a regional school-workshop and competition of research projects of students of physical education, sport and health. The event was attended by students of our university, members of student scientific circle of theory and methodology of physical culture and sport disciplines; representatives of the system of fitness clubs "Formula", "Strekoza" (Odesa), students of other higher educational institutions.
Bila Tserkva, November 21-23, there was conducted Ukrainian National Cup in swimming. Ivan Strilets, a 2-d year student of the Faculty of Physical Rehabilitation at South Ukrainian National Pedagogical University named after K.D.Ushynsky set two junior records of Ukraine on swimming in the 25-meter pool. Congratulations to the winner!
November 18, 2016 in the academic town "Fontansky" of South Ukrainian National Pedagogical University named after K. D. Ushynsky there was held a big celebration for senior school leavers, students, academic staff - "Doors Open Day at the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities".
